About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Claims Manager to oversee and enhance our claims operations for both General and Life Insurance. The ideal candidate will manage the end-to-end claims process, ensuring timely, compliant, and customer-centric settlements while mitigating risks and optimizing team performance.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and manage the claims process from submission to settlement for General and Life Insurance.

· Ensure adherence to IRDAI regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.

· Assess, investigate, and negotiate complex or high-value claims.

· Implement measures to reduce claim leakage, fraud, and operational risks.

· Train, mentor, and manage a team of claims professionals to improve efficiency and accuracy.

· Monitor KPIs such as TAT, CSAT, compliance rates, and team productivity.

· Collaborate with underwriting, legal, and customer service teams for seamless operations.

· Prepare reports, analyze trends, and recommend process improvements.

Qualifications & Experience

· Graduate/Postgraduate in Insurance, Finance, Commerce, or Management.

· 3–5 years of experience in Insurance Claims Management, with exposure to General and Life Insurance.

· Strong understanding of policy terms, claims assessment, and regulatory guidelines.

· Proven ability in team management, fraud control, and process optimization.

· Proficiency in MS Office and insurance claims management software.

· Excellent analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
