Civil & Structural Engineer-Lead

As a structural engineer, your role involves designing and constructing safe structures that can withstand various elements and enhance the structural integrity of existing buildings. Your key responsibilities include: - Designing structures by utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) technology to develop 2D and 3D models of buildings, bridges, and other structures. - Performing design calculations for structures. - Collaborating with architects to work on design models, contractors, and construction workers on-site. - Scrutinizing every phase of construction, from laying foundations to installing structural components. - Measuring loads and pressures to ensure structural soundness. - Reviewing Submittals. In addition to the above responsibilities, you should have experience in: - Geotechnical Investigations. - Estimating man-hours for proposals. - Developing technical specifications and civil/structural design basis. - Conceptual and FEED structural design. - Providing detail design and constructional support. - Creating plot plans and civil general arrangements. - Conducting design calculations for onshore structures. - Designing structural details of equipment shelters. - Designing pipe support and pipe racks. - Creating transformer foundation designs. - Performing dynamic analysis and design of pump foundations, compressor foundations, DG/GT/ST foundations. - Designing equipment foundations for vertical and horizontal vessels, heat exchangers, etc. - Developing ring beam, raft, and pile foundations for tanks. - Attending design review and 3D model review meetings.
