Civil & Structural Engineer-Lead

As a structural engineer, your main responsibility will be to design and construct safe structures that are capable of withstanding various environmental elements while also enhancing the structural integrity of existing buildings. This involves utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) technology to develop both 2D and 3D models of buildings, bridges, and other structures. Additionally, you will be tasked with performing design calculations for structures, collaborating with architects, contractors, and construction workers, and evaluating every stage of construction from foundation laying to structural component installation. It is crucial to measure loads and stresses accurately to ensure the overall structural soundness of the project. Working in structural engineering requires specialized knowledge within the broader field of civil engineering. Your experience should encompass geotechnical investigations, estimation of man-hours for project proposals, development of technical specifications, civil/structural design basis, conceptual and FEED structural design, detailed design, and on-site construction support. You will be responsible for creating plot plans and civil general arrangements, performing design calculations for onshore structures, detailing structural components such as equipment shelters, pipe supports, pipe racks, transformer foundations, and foundations for various equipment including pumps, compressors, generators, and vessels. Moreover, your role will involve designing ring beams, rafts, and pile foundations for tanks, as well as participating in design review and 3D model review meetings.
