Civil Safety Supervisor

1. Safety Policy Implementation

• Enforce safety standards across all civil works and construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with organizational and statutory safety requirements.

2. Team Supervision & Leadership

• Monitor safety officers and site staff to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Assign responsibilities and oversee execution of safety measures.

3. Risk Management

• Conduct site inspections to identify hazards and unsafe practices.
• Recommend corrective actions and ensure timely implementation.

4. Incident Control & Reporting

• Supervise accident investigations and ensure root cause analysis is completed.
• Prepare reports for management and regulatory authorities.

5. Training & Development

• Organize safety training sessions for workers, contractors, and supervisors.
• Mentor junior safety officers to build a strong safety culture.

6. Emergency Preparedness

• Coordinate emergency drills and ensure readiness of response teams.
• Maintain emergency equipment and verify accessibility at all times.

7. Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain safety records including inspection reports, permits, and certifications.
• Ensure documentation meets audit and legal requirements.

8. Continuous Improvement

• Review safety performance metrics and suggest improvements.
• Introduce new safety technologies and best practices.

Qualification:

Civil Engineering with safety certifications of construction.

Courses in occupational health & safety, fire & safety, or environmental safety.

Work Experience

• 2–3 years of site safety experience: Supervisory roles often require prior hands-on exposure to construction or industrial safety.
• Incident management experience: Handling accident investigations and implementing corrective actions.

Skills Required

• Risk assessment: Ability to identify hazards and propose mitigation strategies.
• Leadership & communication: Supervising teams and ensuring compliance.
• Emergency preparedness: Coordinating drills and response plans.
• Documentation & reporting: Maintaining safety records and audit compliance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
