Hiring for Civil Estimator at Kalpataru Projects International Ltd, Mumbai- Santacruz Experience: 12+yrs (Oil & Gas Experience mandatory) Interested candidates can share their resume on nikitha.prabhu@kalpataruprojects.com - Demonstrated intermediate understanding of Estimating core processes requiring minimal direction and supervision. - Knowledge of EPC estimating methods, processes, and procedures, in addition to the estimate types, classifications, and components. Experience with Lump Sum Design Build estimates. Specifically understands detail level estimates and design packages. - Knowledge of market pricing and pricing sources in the area of specialization. - Broad knowledge and experience in construction estimating practices and methods. - Practical experience in performing quantity takeoffs, statistical analysis, and cost and price analysis. Skill in understanding technical discipline processes. Familiar with engineering and construction codes and standards. - Familiar with commercial terms and conditions (contractor relationships, currency exchange, taxation, inflation, insurance, escalation, etc.). - Understanding of cost index and escalation projections sources. - Full understanding of project cash flows and the corresponding time value of money as the cost of working capital. - Familiar with risk and contingency. - Excellent applied analytical and quantitative skills. Effective in utilizing metrics to provide reasonableness checks. - Basic knowledge of financial report systems, Controller account codes and understanding of Controller Instructions that impact estimates. - Proficiency in basic Microsoft software applications (Word, Excel, Access. PowerPoint). Knowledge of scheduling software (Primavera, Microsoft Project). Proficiency in estimating applications used for discipline estimates. - Skilled in oral and written communication with basic presentation skills. Experience Level: The candidate should have over 10 years of estimating experience in preparation detailed estimate in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical / Instrumentation & Controls or in both disciplines. The candidate desired to have experience on projects in Oil & Gas, Power and Mining & Metals Industry. Education Level: Bachelor of Engineering / Technology. Masters degree in Finance or construction management /MBA will be added advantage.
