Job Description

As a CIM Equipment Automation Developer at Tata Electronics Private Limited, your role involves system design, application development, and operational support needs. You will be working on various CIM solutions incorporating vendor products such as Transport System, Recipe Management System, Remote Control System, and more. Your responsibilities include: - Collaborating closely with fab organization, operation users, and partners to implement and develop robust CIM solutions through quality coding and testing. - Hooking up semiconductor equipment with customized protocol (SECSGEM) through communication host. - Building expertise in equipment communication, equipment performance tracking, process job management, and carrier management. - Parsing equipment data for pertinent equipment and process information to support backend engineering systems. - Working closely with the manufacturing (MFG) and Quality teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes. - Participating in cross-functional initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality. Your operational support responsibilities will include: - Providing consistent support to operations by monitoring and maintaining hardware and software systems to ensure high uptime and reliability of automation tools and CIM-related Systems. - Managing DB transactions & Oracle packages for data management and performance tuning. - Monitoring equipment tool performance, ensuring availability of data transfer, and compliance to operational requirements. - Conducting regular maintenance and update of automation programs to ensure reliability. - Implementing adhoc requests to alleviate operational pain points. - Performing troubleshooting of CIM issues and resolving them in a timely manner, focusing on both hardware and software causes. - Participating in shift pass-down meetings and providing detailed reports or feedback on issues to the production and engineering teams. - Being on-call or on a rotation basis to support 24x7 operations. Essential attributes for this role include: - Strong programming skills in C, C#, C++, Java, SQL with a minimum of 2 years of development work. - Keen interest in working in a clean room environment, Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP) projects, and conducting quality checks. - Willingness to learn SEMI standards and Semiconductor manufacturing processes. - Strong sense of urgency in CIM operation support and execution. - Practical problem-solving abilities during production-critical situations while remaining composed under pressure. - Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging CIM systems. - Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues effectively and communicate technical issues across functional teams. - Excellent teamwork skills and enthusiasm to learn new technologies related to the semiconductor domain. Qualifications required for this position: - BE Degree in Mechanical (automation, robotics) or Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Desired Experience Level: - Experience in a semiconductor foundry environment and/or DevOps tool is a plus.,
