Role Overview The DTP Operator role is integral to the preparation and production of high-quality scholarly and spiritual publications at Chinmaya International Foundation. The candidate will be responsible for typesetting, formatting, and beautification of manuscripts, ensuring accuracy in Sanskrit typing, and preparing manuscripts for final publishing. Key Responsibilities Prepare, typeset, and format manuscripts using Adobe InDesign and related publishing tools. Type Sanskrit texts with speed and precision using the Inscript keyboard. Ensure the layout and design of books are aesthetically appealing and publishing-ready. Organize and maintain publication files, records, and revisions. Work with databases and tools such as Microsoft Excel for data management. Coordinate effectively with editors, proofreaders, and supervisors to meet project timelines. Manage workload efficiently, ensuring adherence to deadlines. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Sanskrit, Literature, or any related field. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and correct errors. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Good communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates with a background in Sanskrit studies and LaTeX software will be given preference.
