Job Title: Café Chef / Head Chef Location: Omax Gurgram mall Sector -49 Reports To: Owner Job timing : 11:00 AM TO 11:00 PM Employment Type: Full-time / Contract Job Summary: We are seeking a creative and experienced Café Chef to lead the kitchen operations and curate a menu that aligns with our café’s brand and vision. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, has a strong background in café or casual dining, and can ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation. Key Responsibilities: Menu Planning & Development: Develop and update the café menu, including breakfast, brunch, light meals, and baked goods, ensuring a balance of creativity, customer appeal, and cost-effectiveness. Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare meals and beverages with consistency and excellence, maintaining portion control, taste, and quality. Kitchen Management: Oversee daily kitchen operations including inventory management, food ordering, stock rotation, and waste control. Team Leadership: Train, supervise, and support kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and a positive team environment. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all food hygiene, safety, and sanitation regulations. Cost Control: Monitor food costs and labor costs to optimize profitability without compromising quality. Customer Satisfaction: Engage with customers when necessary to receive feedback and make necessary menu or service adjustments.
