In 2022-23, we also conducted an RCT in low-income private schools in Haryana, which showed that 10 minutes of Chimple usage per day was equivalent to an additional year of schooling. Due to the potential for a huge scale-up of EdTech solutions and backed with evidence, we believe we are just beginning to make an impact. Our goal is to reach 1 million children across India in 3 years. Position Summary: We are scaling our at-home EdTech program targeting school children and teachers in all the schools in Ghaziabad. The project aims to drive deeper implementation of at-home learning, integrating with NIPUN Bharat Mission at the district level to ensure improved parental involvement and enhanced student learning outcomes. The Program Officer (PO) is responsible for the high-quality design and smooth operation of our programs in the district. The PC plays a key role in liaising with all major external stakeholders, including schools, government officials and funders, while working with internal teams to create, shape and deliver impactful programs. This is a cross-functional role reporting to the Program Manager. Responsibilities : Planning and Implementation: Develop and manage detailed project plans and timelines to ensure timely and cost-effective execution of initiatives. Coordinate activities across multiple work streams, ensuring alignment with district, block and project’s priorities and objectives. Track progress, risk and dependencies as they arise on the project and delegate responsibilities accordingly Stakeholder and Field management: Conduct targeted field visits to gather operational insights, understand the effects and impact of the program at a block, school and classroom level. Lead joint visits with field coordinators to build capacity and recommend strategies to drive the product adoption, implementation and user engagement. Meeting with block and district officials to update the program and to get support for on-field implementation. Monitoring: Implement an M&E system from school to block level, inculcate data collection and track progress across the indicators. Regularly monitor and analyse backend app data to understand patterns of Chimple app usage in the field, identify hotspots of usage, as well as flag sample groups that would need additional support. Consolidate qualitative insights and identify modifications and improvements for the Chimple product; subsequently, share feedback with the product development and relevant teams. Skills and Qualifications : 2 to 4 years of work experience with program handling and implementation, and a track record of high achievement in the education/development sector. Excellent communication, project implementation and stakeholder and people management capabilities. Proven technical skills in organising Microsoft Office and Google Suite information and data. Derive insights from large datasets to inform data-driven decision-making at the district level. Highly proactive, adaptable and strategic thinker, and problem-solving skills to navigate dynamic challenges in the field and district.
