Chief Thought Leader

As the leader of the Research and Development (R&D) team, you will be responsible for driving the conception and implementation of innovative business solutions in predictive and prescriptive analytics. You will be tasked with building capabilities, standards, and frameworks to facilitate the efficient and seamless adoption of predictive and prescriptive analytics and visualization within the organization. Active collaboration with academic institutions is encouraged, with a preference for candidates holding a PhD in Computer Science. Your role will require a good working knowledge of Big Data and NoSQL technologies, along with a deep understanding of statistical (regression analysis, cluster analysis, optimization techniques) and computational techniques (machine learning, natural language processing, graph or social network analysis, neural nets, simulation modeling). You should possess the skills to identify and apply the most appropriate techniques for different problem categories, as well as the ability to effectively communicate the business value to stakeholders. Proficiency in visualization techniques and tools, as well as familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies, is essential. A passion for technology and innovation is key, with an emphasis on creating intellectual properties, patents, and conducting research on new and emerging technology trends. Additionally, you should demonstrate the ability to build and lead teams, coupled with excellent interpersonal and consulting skills. Key Skills required for this role include: - Text Analytics Tools: e.g., Open NLP, Stanford NLP - Machine Learning Tools: e.g., Mahout, Weka, R, RapidMiner - Real-time Stream Processing Tools: e.g., Storm - Enterprise Java - Knowledge of Perl, PHP, Ruby, Python, and JavaScript (Desirable) - Good understanding of Hadoop infrastructure The ideal candidate should hold a PhD in Computer Science or Applied Mathematics from a reputable institute, with specialization in a relevant area being a plus. A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 7 years in a lead R&D role, is required to excel in this position.,
