Role Overview

The Chief Financial Officer will be a core member of the executive leadership team, responsible for shaping and executing the organization’s financial strategy during a phase of accelerated domestic and global growth. This role requires a strategic finance leader with strong exposure to capital markets, institutional funding, and complex multi-country financial operations. The CFO will ensure financial discipline, enable informed decision-making, and support long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall financial strategy aligned with business objectives and expansion plans
• Lead capital-raising initiatives including PE, VC, institutional funding, and IPO preparedness
• Represent the organization with banks, financial institutions, investors, and global stakeholders
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
• Drive cash flow management, working capital optimization, and treasury operations
• Design and manage capital structure, debt financing, and foreign exchange exposure
• Ensure compliance with Indian and international accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements
• Identify and mitigate financial risks through robust controls and governance frameworks
• Evaluate investments, mergers, and strategic opportunities through detailed financial analysis
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team
• Work closely with the Board, auditors, legal advisors, and external partners
• Willingness to travel across India and internationally as required

Qualifications & Experience

• Chartered Accountant or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 10+ years of senior finance leadership experience
• Strong background in bank financing, debt raising, and multi-country funding
• Exposure to Indian capital markets (BSE, NSE)
• Proven expertise in financial strategy, compliance, investor relations, and treasury management
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking capabilities
