Job Title: Chemist / Analytical Chemist

Location: Palakkad

Salary: Up to ₹40,000 per month (based on experience and designation)

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Chemist, who can be considered for roles ranging from Analytical Chemist to QC Manager, based on their skills and experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting quality control tests, analytical testing, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform chemical analysis and laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of test results and procedures.
• Ensure all activities comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Review and approve quality control reports (for senior-level roles).
• Guide and supervise junior chemists or lab technicians (for QC Manager role).
• Coordinate with the production team for quality improvements and issue resolutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis Spectroscopy, etc.
• Experience with documentation and quality systems (GMP/GLP preferred).
• Leadership and team-handling experience is a plus (required for QC Manager role).
