Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our team in a key role handling Trade Settlement, Record Keeping, Confirmation & Reconciliation, and Risk Management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial operations, with a particular focus on trade life cycle management and control processes. Key Responsibilities:1. Trade Settlement:Monitor and ensure timely settlement of trades across equity, fixed income, derivatives, and other financial instruments. Coordinate with internal departments, brokers, and custodians to resolve settlement discrepancies. Maintain updated records of settlement cycles and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements. 2. Record Keeping:Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions and trades. Ensure proper documentation for audit trails and compliance checks. Assist in preparing regular and ad hoc reports for management and regulatory bodies. 3. Trade Confirmation & Reconciliation:Review and confirm trade details with counterparties; resolve any mismatches promptly. Perform daily and periodic reconciliation of trades, positions, and cash accounts. Identify and investigate breaks or discrepancies; coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for resolution. 4. Risk Management:Support risk identification, analysis, and mitigation related to trade operations and financial exposures. Monitor exposure limits, margin requirements, and compliance to internal risk policies. Assist in implementing controls and process improvements to minimize operational risk.
