Job Responsibilities : GM Spares and Accessories As the GM of spares and accessories you are responsible for the strategic planning, overall operations, and day to day management of the affairs related to spares and accessories of Premsons Motor. The total number of workshops of the dealership are 14 and total number of Bodyshops are 5. Your key responsibilities include the following. Core KRAs: Parts a) Ensuring availability of spares parts in all workshops and Body-shops as per requirements. b) Audit of all locations and execution of action plan post audit. c) Maximize profitability of the company through various steps: Achievement of Incentives from various vendors in highest slabs, achievement incentives from MSIL, d) Negotiation of best possible deal for paint and other consumables. e) Management of sales of used oil, batteries, cartoons, Bodyshop scraps. f) Achievement of highest slab in balanced score card of MSIL. g) Management and target achievement of VAS. VAS items stocks arrangement. h) To closely monitor the slow-moving stock & dead stocks and ensure its liquidation through Bodyshop, workshop and outside vendors. i) To maintain Inventory as per target- month days. Monthly A.O.S review If there is no AOS, do monthly review of Inventory based on ABC-FMSNO analysis in consultation with spare parts manager. j) MRR (Parts Return), surplus campaign parts return & transit claims settlements. k) Management of Paint issue at the time of Bodyshop repair, tracking and reducing per panel cost. Recovery of unused parts from Bodyshop & Service team through frequent audits. l) Keeping costs within budget and finding avenues to reduce costs of operation. Core KRAs Accessories: a) Maintain the per car accessories as per BSC, NSC targets. b) Stocks availability based on sales trends for all outlets. c) Achieving and tracking the Incentive schemes from MSIL for Arena, NEXA, Workshops and True Value. d) Budgeting and adherence. e) Minimize slow moving stock and maintain 45 days stock rotation. People responsibilities: a) Identifying manpower requirements and filling the vacancy with suitable manpower. b) Training and development of manpower. c) Incentive structure for the team, timely and correct disbursal of team incentives. d) Employee motivation and retention. e) Identification of poor performers and their speedy replacement.
