CGI Material Artist

As a CGI Material Artist at the Company, your role involves creating textures for both Company and third-party products to be utilized across various sales and marketing platforms. You will need to leverage your expertise in Substance Designer and Photoshop to ensure high-volume production without compromising on quality. Key Responsibilities: - Create high-quality textures and materials using Substance Designer to accurately represent the products. - Showcase proficiency in handling soft-goods and hard-goods materials like fabric, woods, and metals. - Collaborate with Business stakeholders and Lead 3D artist for material approval. - Manage and expand the material library, keeping track of all working and final files in the data management system. - Aid in the development and maintenance of material pipelines. - Work closely with 3D modelers and architectural visualization team to ensure consistency in processes and quality. - Uphold the Company's Core and Growth Values in all job functions. Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Media Arts and Animation, Interactive Entertainment, Interactive Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience is a must. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in 3D asset development or related field. - Proficient in Substance Designer/Painter and 3DSMax modeling. - Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and modeling/UV skills. - Sound understanding of PBR rendering, materials, and light interactions. - Attention to detail and ability to adapt to evolving technologies to enhance efficiency. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
