CBT/ IEC Expert

Position: CBT/ IEC Expert:

Area of Expertise – IEC Expert: Expert in designing and executing IEC/BCC campaigns, developing training modules, and creating communication materials to promote behavior change in health, hygiene, and WASH programs.

• Skilled in developing and implementing IEC/BCC strategies for behavior change in WASH, health, and hygiene sectors.
• Proficient in creating communication materials such as posters, flipbooks, training manuals, and digital content.
• Experienced in planning and conducting awareness campaigns, community mobilization, and participatory communication.
• Adept in capacity building of field staff, PRIs, SHGs, and community-based institutions through structured trainings.
• Strong understanding of cultural sensitivity and local context to design impactful and inclusive messaging.

Educational Qualification & Experience

• Postgraduate degree in Social Work, Sociology, or Mass Communication.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in:
• Capacity building and training
• Development of IEC materials
• Creation of training content and modules
• Community mobilization and awareness campaigns

Key Responsibilities – IEC Expert

• Design, develop, and implement IEC/BCC strategies to promote behavior change related to water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH).
• Develop culturally appropriate communication tools, materials, and media for community awareness (e.g., flipbooks, posters, audio-visuals).
• Plan and conduct IEC campaigns, street plays, wall paintings, rallies, and community meetings in rural and urban settings.
• Organize and facilitate capacity-building workshops and training sessions for PRI members, SHGs, frontline workers, and local stakeholders.
• Monitor the effectiveness of IEC activities and adapt strategies based on feedback and behavior change outcomes.
• Collaborate with government departments, development partners, and community leaders to ensure message consistency and outreach.
• Document success stories, prepare activity reports, and contribute to donor reports and knowledge products.
• Support the integration of gender, equity, and inclusion into all communication materials and community outreach efforts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 per month
