We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder Fitter to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, fitting, and welding metal components according to blueprints, specifications, and welding procedures. This role requires proficiency in various welding techniques and a strong understanding of fabrication and assembly processes. Key Responsibilities:Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications. Fit and assemble metal components based on specifications using clamps, rulers, and measuring tools. Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, or Arc welding on various materials (e.g., steel, aluminum, stainless steel). Operate welding equipment and hand tools in a safe and efficient manner. Inspect completed welds and structures to ensure they meet quality standards. Perform grinding, cutting, and finishing tasks as required. Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition. Follow safety protocols and company procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other team members on projects. Qualifications:High school diploma or GED; technical certification in welding preferred. Proven experience as a Welder Fitter or similar role. Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings. Skilled in MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding techniques. Ability to use measuring tools, grinders, and cutting torches. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials. Commitment to workplace safety. Work Environment: Industrial or fabrication shop environment. May require standing for extended periods and lifting heavy materials. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
