Job Description

Take orders accurately using POS (Point-of-Sale) systems. Process cash, credit/debit card, and digital wallet transactions. Ensure the correct pricing and taxes are applied to every order. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the counter area. Handle customer queries, complaints, and special requests professionally. Issue receipts and pack takeaway items if needed. Balance the cash register at the start and end of the shift. Monitor inventory of billing materials (paper rolls, etc.) and report shortages. Support café staff during rush hours when needed (e.g., serving, clearing tables). Follow hygiene and safety standards at all times. Rotational shifts (including weekends and holidays) Prior experience in cash handling or billing (preferably in a café or restaurant). Suggest add-ons and upsell menu items (e.g., larger sizes, combo deals, pastries, or seasonal specials) to increase average transaction value.
