Cashier/Office Assistant

As a Cashier at Jawaharlal Nehru College for Women (Arts & Science) and JSA Siddha Medical College located in Pali, Ulundurpet, Tamilnadu - 606104, your key responsibilities will include issuing receipts, refunds, or change to customers, counting money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts, maintaining clean and orderly checkout areas, ensuring pricing is correct, and resolving customer complaints politely. Additionally, you will be responsible for balancing cash receipts, preparing cash deposits, and strictly following all cash handling and accounting procedures. To excel in this role, you should possess basic math and computer skills, have a keen attention to detail and accuracy, exhibit good communication and customer service skills, and hold a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience as a cashier or in retail is considered an advantage. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits such as Provident Fund. The preferred languages for this role are Hindi and English. The work location will be in person.
