Cashier / Sales Man

Role Overview: As a Cashier & Salesman at the supermarket in Kuwait, Saudi, Qatar, or Dubai, you will play a crucial role in providing efficient customer service at the checkout counter and on the sales floor. Your responsibilities will include greeting customers, processing transactions accurately, assisting with product inquiries, and maintaining a high standard of service. Key Responsibilities: - Greet customers politely and provide excellent service. - Accurately scan, bag, and process items during checkout. - Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts. - Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges following store policies. - Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of checkout counters. - Assist customers in locating products and explaining features/offers. - Ensure shelves are well-stocked, clean, and organized. - Promote products, offers, and upselling opportunities. - Check expiry dates, pricing labels, and product display standards. - Handle customer queries and escalate complaints when necessary. - Support in stock replenishment and inventory checks. Qualifications Required: - Minimum qualification: High School / 12th standard or equivalent. - Prior experience as a cashier or salesman in retail/supermarket preferred (international experience an advantage). - Basic computer and POS system knowledge. - Strong numeracy skills and accuracy in cash handling. - Good communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage. - Physically fit to stand for long hours and lift/store products. - Customer-oriented, polite, and professional behavior. - Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
