1 HSE Compliance & Risk Management Conduct Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and enforce control measures. Lead initiatives to eliminate High Potential Incidents (HiPo). Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations, Indian Standards (IS), ISO standards, and company HSE policies 2 Site Safety Supervision Conduct routine site inspections, safety audits, and tool-box talks. Ensure implementation of Permit to Work (PTW) systems, PPE use, and safe work practices for critical tasks. Supervise confined space work, hot work, work at height, and heavy lifting operations. 3 Training & Capacity Building Organize safety induction for new workers and refresher training for existing staff. Conduct awareness campaigns and mock drills for fire, medical emergencies, and spill response. Train workers on reporting near-misses and understanding HiPo indicators. 4 Incident Investigation & Reporting Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses using RCA tools (5-Why, Fishbone). Maintain proper documentation for incident records and lessons learned. Ensure timely submission of reports to HSE Manager and client, including CAPA follow-up. 5 Documentation & Communication Prepare daily/weekly/monthly safety reports, checklists, and dashboards. Support the preparation of HSE presentations (PPTs) for client meetings and internal reviews. Coordinate with European HSE teams or clients for alignment and reporting, when applicable. 6 Emergency & Environmental Management Monitor and maintain first aid kits, firefighting equipment, and emergency signage. Oversee proper disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste in line with environmental norms. Support initiatives for environmental protection and sustainability. 7 Preferred Skills: Strong knowledge of NEBOSH, ISO systems, national HSE laws. Good communication skills (English/Hindi/regional language). Experience in interacting with international clients or partners. Competence in MS Office, safety reporting tools, and PowerPoint for safety presentations. Leadership and mentoring ability to guide site safety engineers and workers. 8 KPIs / Performance Indicators: Zero Lost Time Injury (LTI) achievement. Closure of NCRs and CAPAs within defined timelines. Number of training hours conducted and HiPo incidents prevented. Quality and timeliness of reporting and audits. Roles and Responsibilities Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions. Develop, maintain, and update the company's safety management system (SMS) in accordance with OSHA regulations. Provide training on fire prevention, industrial safety, HSE policies, and procedures to employees at all levels. Collaborate with other departments to develop risk assessments and control plans.
