Carpenter/Laborer

The Carpenter is responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing wooden structures, furniture, fixtures, and fittings as per design specifications. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and knowledge of both traditional woodworking techniques and modern carpentry tools.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and design specifications.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join wood, plywood, MDF, and other materials.
• Construct and repair furniture, cabinets, doors, windows, and wooden fixtures.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely.
• Install wooden structures, partitions, panels, and fittings on-site or in the workshop.
• Ensure high-quality finishing (polishing, laminating, varnishing, etc.).
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workplace cleanliness.
• Follow safety protocols and company quality standards.
