Key Responsibilities:

· Interpreting Plans:

Reading and understanding blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the scope of work and materials needed.

· Material Preparation:

Measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wood, and other materials using hand tools, power saws, and other woodworking machinery.

· Structural Work:

Building frameworks, including walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs, using various materials like wood, steel, and composites.

· Fixture Installation:

Installing windows, doors, door frames, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures.

· Repair and Maintenance:

Inspecting and repairing damaged structures, replacing damaged or defective parts, and maintaining existing fixtures.

· Safety Compliance:

Adhering to safety regulations and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

· Collaboration:

Working with other construction professionals, such as laborers, subcontractors, and other carpenters, to complete projects efficiently.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Technical Skills: Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.

· Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during construction or repair projects.

· Blueprint Reading: Understanding and interpreting architectural and construction drawings.

· Material Knowledge: Knowledge of different wood types, properties, and other carpentry materials.

· Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, and working in various positions.

· Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of the work.

· Communication and Teamwork: Effectively communicating with clients, supervisors, and other team members.

Work Environments:

· Construction Sites: Working on new construction projects, both residential and commercial.

· Renovation Projects: Repairing and renovating existing buildings and structures.

· Workshops: Building and assembling components in a dedicated workspace.

· Client or Businesses: Performing carpentry work on-site at client locations.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
