Cardiologist- Medical Director (Core Labs)

Role Overview: As a Cardiologist - Medical Director at Medpace's Core Labs in Mumbai office, you will be responsible for overseeing assignments, training, and management of central readers for cardiac imaging and EKG. Your role will involve collaborating with Core Lab management on technical aspects of cardiac study assessments, participating in sponsor site visits and audits related to cardiac assessments, demonstrating competency in independent central review of EKG and cardiac imaging for clinical trials, reviewing protocols and associated study documents, and ensuring accurate completion of source documents according to protocol requirements and SOPs. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in oversight of assignments, training, and management of central readers of cardiac imaging and EKG - Collaborate with Core Lab management on technical aspects of cardiac study assessments - Participate in sponsor site visits and audits related to cardiac assessments - Demonstrate competency in independent central review of EKG and cardiac imaging for clinical trials - Review protocols, Image Review Charters, and study documents - Complete source documents accurately and promptly - Conduct blinded independent central review of EKG and cardiac imaging - Participate in variability assessments - Contribute to the development, review, and evaluation of SOPs and study procedures - Perform any other duties as assigned Qualifications: - Must have an M.D. and current medical licensure - Board Certification preferred - Experience with EKG and various cardiac imaging modalities - Expertise in interpreting EKG and cardiac imaging - Familiarity with EKG and cardiac image analysis software - Proficiency in using computer software such as Word, Excel, Access, and Project - Board Eligibility in Cardiology or equivalent training Company Details: Medpace is a global full-service clinical contract research organization (CRO) dedicated to accelerating the development of safe and effective medical therapeutics.
