Capital Projects Specialist

As a Capital Projects Management Specialist at Accenture, your role involves analyzing, designing, operating, and optimizing electrical power systems to ensure reliability, efficiency, and safety. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development, testing, and deployment of electrical infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities: - Perform steady-state and dynamic analyses of electrical power systems using advanced software tools such as PSCAD, PSS/E, ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory. - Conduct load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, stability, and fault analysis. - Design and specify components for electrical power systems, including substations, transmission lines, and distribution networks. - Develop system models for various scenarios and provide solutions for power system optimization. - Design, implement, and test protection and control systems for electrical networks. - Troubleshoot and resolve protection system issues during routine operations and emergencies. - Prepare detailed technical reports, system studies, and analysis findings. - Provide accurate documentation for system upgrades, testing, and regulatory compliance. - Collaborate with electrical engineers and project managers to ensure successful project execution. - Stay updated with industry advancements, regulatory changes, and best practices in power system engineering. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus). - 7 to 11 years of experience in power system engineering, focusing on design, analysis, and optimization. - Proficiency in power system analysis software such as PSS/E, PSCAD, ETAP, or DIgSILENT PowerFactory. - Solid understanding of electrical network components like transformers, circuit breakers, relays, and conductors. - Experience with protection and control system design, relay coordination, and fault analysis. - Familiarity with national and international standards and regulations (e.g., IEC, IEEE, ANSI).
