MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES As an Analyst, you will be a key member of the Corporate Finance team and involved in projects across the APAC region that may include, but are not limited to: Support the Associates and Partners on deal execution for our private placement, M&A, and/or strategic financial advisory mandates Help in sub-elements of financial analysis including integrated three statement model, valuation, and cash flow modeling Support preparation of key documentation including Pitch Decks, Information Memorandums, Management Presentations, etc Participate in due diligence processes including client preparation and investor Q&A Provide background work for research and industry analysis with a focus on technology and the internet in SE Asia and India Contribute to building an unrivaled CRM and tech-led project management platform KEY COMPETENCIES Good academic credentials from top institutions with 1-4 years of relevant work experience after an undergraduate program Strong accounting and corporate finance knowledge Methodical, meticulous and possess strong quantitative and analytical skills Excellent communication, business writing, and research skills Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines Ability to manage projects independently and be ready to assume a high level of responsibility as a member of a team Committed to excellence on assigned deliverables with high professional and ethical standards Familiarity with research databases and financial tools is a plus (e.g., Capital IQ, Tracxn, CB Insights, Crunchbase, Bloomberg, etc.) Strong preference is to hire candidates with prior internship or full-time experience working in the technology sector with a mid-market investment bank, consulting firm, or technology start-up CULTURE We love our work – a demonstrable passion for the technology and start-up space Founders are the centre of our universe – optimize for our main client (the founder) to build long-term relationships and trust We reward action and energy – progress is made by making mistakes, become excited and energized to make a few as long you are in forward momentum Growth is everything, personal and as a collective group – always ask what’s next and how can we make that 1% improvement on yesterday We are results-focused; we are not interested in over-engineering processes for a historical world that doesn’t exist Strive to be better than the market, we are not playing catch up here our founders and investors don’t expect anything less.
