Camera ISP Tuning Engineer

You have a fantastic opportunity to join as a Camera ISP Tuning Engineer with 3 to 12 years of experience in either Kochi or Manesar location. As a Camera ISP Tuning Engineer, you will be responsible for working on various types of cameras, including digital consumer cameras, automotive cameras, and machine vision cameras. Your role will involve deep knowledge and expertise in 3A algorithms and ISP pipeline modules. To excel in this role, you should have prior experience in tuning 3A algorithms (Auto Exposure, Auto White Balance, Auto Focus) and ISP pipeline blocks for consumer or automotive cameras equipped with high megapixel sensors. It is essential to stay updated with the latest image sensor technologies, optics, camera ISP pipelines, and have a profound understanding of IQ metrics and their trade-offs concerning different ISP blocks. Your responsibilities will also include understanding the image processing pipeline, which encompasses tasks such as Calibration, Gamma correction, Color correction, Noise reduction, sharpness, brightness, and contrast adjustments. You should be adept at performing both subjective and objective IQ evaluations to ensure the quality and performance of the camera systems. Moreover, hands-on experience with tools like IMATEST, Image Engineering, and DXO mark SW will be beneficial for this role. Working in imaging labs and being familiar with various test charts, lighting equipment, light boxes, chroma meters, etc., will be part of your daily tasks. Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python is essential, along with prior work experience on embedded systems based on platforms like Qualcomm, TI, MTK, Intel, Ambarella, or Ingenic.
