We are hiring for the role of Supplier Coordinator (Manufacturing) Job Description / Responsibilities: Coordinate part manufacturing and delivery from supplier facilities in alignment with project timelines. Provide regular status updates to the Sourcing Manager. Perform on-site inspections and quality checks throughout manufacturing processes. Verify material specifications, dimensions, tolerances, and overall workmanship. Ensure compliance with technical drawings and CAF quality standards. Document inspection results and generate daily/weekly reports. Identify non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions. Support third-party inspections and client visits as needed. Desired Candidate Profile: Basic understanding of manufacturing drawings and quality control standards. Proficient with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM. Strong communication, documentation, and reporting skills. Willing to travel and stay at vendor locations for extended periods when required. Supplier Quality Engineer gurugram 5 - 10 years INR 5.0 - 10.0 Lacs P.A. Work from Office Full Time

We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team at CAF India. In this role, you will ensure that supplier products and processes meet CAFs quality standards for global projects and multiple business units. You will work closely with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Sourcing, Project Planning, Quality) and suppliers to conduct audits, First Article Inspections (FAI), and support process improvements. The position requires frequent supplier visits and specialized knowledge of liquid and powder painting processes. Key Responsibilities Define supplier quality requirements for products and processes, including special processes. Plan and execute supplier audits (homologation, renewal, or in-process) and First Article Inspections. Collaborate with suppliers to drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Ensure strong coordination with CAF departments, third-party auditors, and suppliers. Carry out painting process reviews and homologation audits . Support continuous improvement initiatives across supplier quality management. Qualifications & Skills Essential: Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in Supplier Quality Management (Railway, Automobile, or related industry). Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 (IRIS knowledge desirable). Proficiency in English (written & spoken). Hands-on experience with SAP / MRP systems . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills . Ability to build strong supplier relationships and influence quality improvements. Flexible to work across shifts, weekends, and travel frequently as required. Desirable: FROSIO or NACE accreditations. Training in ISO 9001 or IRIS accreditation . Spanish language proficiency. Knowledge of FRP, casting, and machining manufacturing processes.
