CAD PATTERN MAKERS

As a Pattern Maker/ CAD, your primary role involves handling pattern making tasks, both manually and using CAD software. Your key responsibilities include: - Working according to order priority with designers, ensuring due dates are met. - Setting daily priorities for pattern making tasks. - Immediately addressing pattern alterations as discussed. - Verifying that all pattern parts for garments are present and nothing is missing. - Ensuring all pattern pieces have necessary instructions such as notch marks, seam allowance, grain line, front/back indications, size details, etc. - Marking notch marks and direction on pattern pieces for draping garments. - Clearly indicating boning on the pattern. - Including mold patterns for block cut patterns. - Mentioning the side of the pattern for asymmetric garments. - Labeling all patterns with their layering names (e.g., Lining, interlining). - Writing the number of pattern pieces on the pattern cover for each pattern. - Incorporating small pattern parts like binding, facings, pockets, loops, etc. - Adding "CUSTOM" with Purchase Order (PO) number for all custom patterns. - Attaching a patch with custom instructions for patterns with minor alterations. - Noting the depth and direction of pleats on the pattern pieces. You will report directly to higher management and collaborate closely with designers to ensure efficient pattern making processes.,
