As a CAD Engineer Faculty specializing in Civil (BIM) at CADCENTER IEE in Thrissur, Kerala, your role will involve delivering training on civil CAD and BIM tools to students and professionals. You will provide academic support, assist in curriculum enhancement, and contribute to the growth of aspiring engineers in the field of design and engineering. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct classroom and online training sessions on Civil CAD and BIM software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, STAAD.Pro, etc. - Prepare training materials, lesson plans, and project assignments aligned with the syllabus requirements. - Offer academic guidance and address student queries during and after training sessions. - Evaluate student progress through practical assignments and exams to ensure learning outcomes. - Facilitate hands-on experience for students through project-based learning methodologies. - Stay updated with the latest trends in BIM and construction design technologies to enhance training effectiveness. - Support marketing efforts through seminars, webinars, and workshops to promote CADCENTER's offerings. - Collaborate with fellow trainers and technical staff to uphold quality standards in training delivery. Qualifications Required: - Diploma / B.Tech / M.Tech in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (Architecture & Structure), Civil 3D, Navisworks, and STAAD.Pro. - Strong communication and presentation skills are essential. - Teaching or mentoring experience is preferred but not mandatory. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Passion for education and student development. Preferred Skills: - Knowledge of additional tools like Lumion, SketchUp, or Primavera is advantageous. - Certification in BIM or related tools is a plus. - Willingness to upgrade skills and adapt to new tools as per market trends.
