CAD Engineer

Job Description

CAD Engineer (Mechanical) Required skills: Experience with Siemens NX CAD modeling package, specifically sheet metal stamping components is must. Experience in Teamcenter PLM. Familiar with Engineering change management processes such as ECR (Engineering Change Request), ECN (Engineering Change Notice) and ECO (Engineering Change Order). GD&T, FMEA, dimensional tolerance stack-up and engineering standards. Creative, innovative, decisive, and prone to action Quality and customer focused. Possess and apply a broad knowledge of principals, practices, and procedures to the completion of difficult technical problems and projects. Superior technical knowledge as demonstrated by academic experience and broad practical experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High level of people skills, able to work in a team environment. Ability to work with domestic and international technology partners. The engineer may be required to communicate in Mandarin if one must interact with Chinese counterparts. If the engineer does not know Mandarin, the training will be arranged by Nexteer India and time will have to be invested by the engineer Educational Requirements: Bachelors in mechanical/automotive engineering, associates in technical design field or equivalent training and experience.
