Job Description

As a Software Developer at Siemens, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of SW Test automation framework and manage a team. Your key responsibilities will include: - Analyzing software requirements - Designing test scenarios and test cases - Writing automation scripts for documented test specifications - Proficient in Test Effort Estimation, Test Planning, Manual and Automation testing - Object-oriented programming, design, and debugging skills - Working with GUI object recognition and customization - Knowledge about Software Engineering Tools and processes such as Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) and configuration management tools like Clear case - Creating test documentations including test specifications, impact analysis - Providing test reports with defect analysis, RCA, and summary reports - Creating automated test scripts for nonfunctional and functional requirements - Collaborating with cross-functional and globally located teams - Contributing to manual testing when required - Staying abreast of technology trends and industry best practices in testing To excel in this position, you should actively contribute to improving the overall testability of the product and release quality. You should be conversant with typical software development processes/methodologies and have exposure to working with multi-site global teams. Implementing and developing automated test practices for both software and hardware, integrating test suites into the test management system, configuring and maintaining Siemens Hardware components, and working with the Release Engineering team to create and maintain automated nightly build verification (smoke) tests and Unit Tests are also part of your responsibilities. Your proficiency in mainstream development languages such as C# and Javascript will be beneficial in this role. This position is based in Bangalore, offering you the opportunity to work with diverse teams impacting cities, countries, and the future.,
