Job Description: Business Development (BD) Manager

• Location: Waki, Pune (On-site / Field)
• Reporting to: Managing Director

Executive SummarySilicon Safepack Pvt. Ltd. is a specialized manufacturing provider engineering custom material handling assets for high-tier ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems) warehouse automation systems, automotive components, and returnable industrial lines. We are seeking a high-energy Business Development Manager to hunt and secure new B2B accounts. This role focuses on selling our core offerings—Steel Pallets, Cages, MHT (Material Handling Trolleys), and Smart Returnable Packaging solutions—to automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, logistics giants, and automated warehouses across India.Core Areas of Ownership

• New Account Acquisition: Identify, pitch, and close new business opportunities within target verticals (Automotive, E-commerce, Warehousing, and Heavy Engineering).
• Consultative Technical Selling: Understand client warehouse workflows to position our high-precision ASRS pallets, customized MHTs, and smart tracking-enabled packaging assets.
• RFQs & Proposal Management: Coordinate closely with our Waki plant engineering team to estimate costs, build structural sketches, and submit precise commercial RFQs.
• Client Trials & Verification: Facilitate technical alignment by coordinating client engineering trials and sample testing directly at the Waki factory floor.
• Market Intelligence: Map competitors, track regional warehousing expansions, and identify emerging demands for automated supply chain assets.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

• Domain Experience: 3–7 years of B2B sales experience specifically within Industrial Packaging, Material Handling Equipment (MHE), Warehousing Automation, or heavy steel fabrication sales.
• Technical Acumen: Ability to read basic structural drawings and talk confidently about load capacities, millimetric tolerances, and robotic automation requirements.
• Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in long-cycle B2B sales, managing large corporate accounts, and consistently meeting revenue targets.
• Mobility: Ready for extensive regional travel for client meetings, while being anchored out of our Waki, Pune unit.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
