Business Development Manager - Railways

Role Overview:

We are looking for a proactive Business Development Manager to drive business growth for our railway segment. The ideal candidate should have strong communication, networking and coordination skills, a keen eye for business opportunities, and the initiative to build customer relationships, generate leads and convert them into business. A willingness to learn, take ownership, work effectively with teams and maintain attention to detail is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify new business opportunities across railway sheds, workshops, depots, production units and rolling stock facilities.
• Track upcoming projects, tenders and market developments to identify potential business prospects.
• Coordinate with internal teams to prepare proposals, quotations and respond to customer requirements.
• Maintain records of customer interactions, follow up enquiries and business opportunities, and provide regular updates on progress.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree
• 0 to 1 year of experience in Sales / Marketing (on-field)
• Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and site visits
• Strong communication skills in Tamil and English (Hindi will be an added advantage)
