Business Development Manager – Corporate Accounts (POP & Retail Displays)

The role
We are looking for a hunter: a sales professional who opens doors at new corporate brands and turns them into regular customers. This role is about winning new business, not managing existing accounts.

What you will do

• Find and approach brand, trade marketing, visual merchandising and procurement teams at FMCG, consumer durables, healthcare, electronics and lifestyle companies
• Get FOCAL onto approved vendor lists and rate contracts
• Lead client meetings, understand display requirements and work with our design team on proposals and quotes
• Close orders and hit a monthly target for billing from new accounts
• Hand accounts over to our servicing team once they are running smoothly

What we are looking for

• 5+ years in B2B sales, ideally in POP displays, signage, retail fixtures, packaging, printing or exhibitions
• Existing contacts with marketing or procurement teams at brands in Chennai, Gurgaon, Delhi, Calcutta, Bangalore and Mumbai
• A record of opening new corporate accounts. Please give numbers in your application.
• Confident at presenting to senior marketing people, and persistent through rejection
• Good spoken and written English. Hindi or Tamil is a plus.
• Own two-wheeler or four-wheeler; willing to travel

What we offer

• Fixed salary of ₹35000/-per month, plus a commission on collected billing from new accounts
