JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for confident, proactive, and result-oriented Business Development Interns to generate new business opportunities for our Education Consulting and IT Solutions division.

The role involves visiting schools, colleges, coaching institutes, and other educational organizations, participating in business expos and exhibitions, and building relationships with institutional decision-makers to acquire new clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Field Sales & Client Acquisition

• Visit schools, colleges, universities, coaching institutes, and educational businesses to identify prospective clients.
• Approach principals, directors, trustees, management representatives, and IT administrators to introduce EduBenz services.
• Build and maintain relationships with institutional decision-makers.

2. Education & IT Solutions Sales
Generate business opportunities for the following services:

• Website Development
• ERP and CRM Systems
• Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Digital Marketing and SEO
• Lead Generation Solutions
• Admissions Consulting
• Institutional Digital Transformation

3. Expos, Exhibitions & Networking

• Attend education expos, trade fairs, industry exhibitions, conferences, and networking events.
• Identify potential clients, establish business connections, and generate qualified leads.

4. Lead Generation & Market Research

• Research educational institutions using Google, LinkedIn, online directories, professional networks, and other channels.
• Build and maintain a qualified database of prospective clients.

5. Needs Assessment & Solution Coordination

• Understand institutional challenges related to admissions, marketing, technology, and operations.
• Coordinate with the internal team to identify and recommend suitable solutions.

6. Client Meetings & Presentations

• Schedule meetings with prospective clients.
• Present relevant services and coordinate product demonstrations.
• Assist in preparing business proposals, quotations, and presentations.

7. Follow-Ups & Business Conversion

• Follow up with prospects and maintain ongoing client relationships.
• Negotiate within approved commercial terms.
• Support the conversion of prospective clients into paying customers.

8. Partnership Development

• Explore partnership opportunities with educational consultants, training institutes, academic partners, and other relevant organizations.

9. Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain accurate records of field visits, leads, meetings, follow-ups, and sales opportunities.
• Use spreadsheets, Google Sheets, or CRM tools to track business development activities.

ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS

• Students and freshers pursuing BBA, BMS, B.Com, MBA, or related courses may apply.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence in approaching business owners and institutional decision-makers.
• Willingness to travel locally for client visits, expos, and exhibitions.
• Interest in B2B sales, education technology, consulting, and digital services.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, LinkedIn, and online research.
• Prior experience in field sales or business development is an advantage but not mandatory.
