Role Overview

detail-oriented and technically proficient Business Analyst with ERP expertise

analysing business processes, defining system requirements, supporting ERP product development, and ensuring successful implementation and adoption of ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Business & Process Analysis

• Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, product managers, and internal teams, to understand business processes, operational challenges, and improvement opportunities.
• Analyse and document

  current-state workflows

  and design

  future-state processes

  aligned with ERP capabilities.
• Conduct

  gap analyses

  to identify functional, technical, and operational requirements.
• Evaluate business needs and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity. 

2) ERP Requirements & Solution Design

• Translate business needs into

  clear, structured functional and technical specifications for ERP product development.

• Work closely with

  ERP architects, developers, and product teams

  to design and validate solutions.
• Ensure that proposed solutions align with ERP architecture, scalability requirements, and system capabilities.
• Support configuration, customization, and deployment of ERP modules and enhancements.

3) Project & Change Management

• Participate in

  ERP implementation, upgrade, and optimization initiatives.

• Create

  user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation.

• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions

  and gather stakeholder feedback.
• Assist in

  change management activities

  , including preparing user documentation, training materials, and communication plans.  

4) Data Governance & Reporting

• Ensure

  data accuracy, consistency, and governance

  across ERP modules.
• Collaborate with reporting teams to define

  KPIs, dashboards, and reporting requirements.

• Analyze and troubleshoot

  data-related issues

  , recommending corrective actions where required.

5) Ongoing Support & Continuous Improvement

• Act as a

  subject matter expert (SME)

  for ERP functionality and business processes.
• Provide

  Tier-2 functional support

  to ERP users and assist in resolving system-related issues.
• Continuously identify opportunities to

  streamline workflows, improve system performance, and enhance user experience.

• Stay updated on

  industry trends, emerging ERP technologies, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in

  business administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience

  as a Business Analyst, p

  referably within ERP product or ERP implementation environments.

• Strong understanding of core

  ERP modules such as

  :

  a) Accounting b) Customer Management c) Sales Estimation (CRM) d) Purchasing and Inventory Management e) Scheduling & Dispatching f) Project Management & Job Costing

• Experience working with

  ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Infor, or similar systems.

• Ability to develop

  process maps, functional specifications, business requirement documents (BRDs), and user documentation.

• Strong analytical,

  critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent

  communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

• Experience working in

  Agile, Hybrid, or Waterfall development environments.

• Ability to work

  independently

  while maintaining productivity and accountability.
• The ideal candidate will have demonstrated

  excellent oral and written communication skills in English

  and possess experience working with

  offshore teams across multiple geographies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in

  ERP product development, implementation, or major system upgrades.

• Familiarity with

  SQL, data analysis, or reporting tools.

• Understanding of

  system integrations, APIs, middleware, and data flow architecture.

• Certifications such as:

a) CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional)

b) CCBA (Certification of Capability in Business Analysis)

c) PMI-PBA

d) ERP-specific certifications.
