Build Release Engineer

As a Build Release Engineer at In4Velocity, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end release lifecycle for software products. Your key responsibilities will include: - Creating and maintaining release branches, tagging, and versioning using Git tools like Cruise Control, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI. - Documenting release procedures and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards through Release Documents. - Troubleshooting build and deployment failures by providing root cause analysis. - Supporting multiple environments (dev, staging, production) to maintain consistency across them. - Automating manual tasks to reduce human error and increase release velocity. - Maintaining tools for software configuration management and build systems. Qualifications required for this role include: - Any Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Proficiency in Cruise Control, Azure DevOps. - Experience with technical languages such as .Net & MS SQL. - Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, etc. - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, along with good communication skills. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile environment. - Experience in compliance-heavy environments such as ISO, SOC2. - Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
