Sales Strategy and Execution: • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed targets • Set up and maintain strong business relationships with distributors • Implement and align sales fundamentals (Distribution, Pricing, Placement, Point of Sale Materials, Promotions) with distributors and customers • Measure sales fundamentals and adapt strategies to maximize growth potential 2. Channel Management: • Ensure all relevant outlets within the assigned geography are serviced and merchandised monthly • Develop and implement coverage optimization plans as per company guidelines • Drive alternate channel objectives by aligning distributor and frontline teams to channel requirements • Maintain relationships with key accounts across channels (e.g., specialty tea shops, cafes, supermarkets) 3. Marketing Alignment: • Plan and execute key marketing-aligned activations in the specified geography • Collaborate with the marketing team on sales drives, event sales, and activations across channels • Ensure proper execution of planned programs, promotions, and merchandising across customers and channels 4. Inventory and Distribution Management: • Manage distributor inventory to prevent stock-outs • Maintain hygiene at distributor warehouses as per company standards • Process distributor claims in a timely manner, coordinating with regional finance as needed 5. Reporting and Analysis: • Analyze market trends and competitor activities • Create and submit regular sales reports to business stakeholders • Develop and review guidelines to track and measure objectives on distribution, shelving, merchandising, and pricing Requirements: The ideal candidate shall possess deep content expertise around areas of sales along with strong industry experience and good analytical skills to be part of the Sales Excellence practice.
