Summary We are hiring an experienced HR Executive / HR Manager to run HR operations for our nursery and plant office in Lucknow. This on-site role combines recruitment for nursery and office roles, employee relations, statutory compliance for plantation and field staff, and HR administration to support a growing horticulture business. Key Responsibilities Recruit for nursery roles and office positions: job postings, screening, interviews, on boarding, and induction. Maintain workforce scheduling and rostering for field, nursery, and support staff. Manage employee records, attendance, leave, and payroll coordination with finance. Ensure statutory compliance: PF, ESIC, Minimum Wages, Factory or local labour rules applicable to nursery operations. Handle employee relations, grievance resolution, disciplinary processes, and performance reviews. Drive training and development for nursery staff on plant care, safety, and customer service. Oversee welfare facilities: transportation, canteen, PPE, health check-ups, and workplace safety practices. Maintain hiring metrics, monthly HR reports, and suggestions to improve retention and productivity. Support inventory of HR supplies and coordinate with procurement for uniforms and tools. Must Have Qualifications 25 years of HR experience, preferably with exposure to field or plant/warehouse operations. Practical knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance. Good communication and people-management skills; comfortable working with frontline staff. Proficient with Excel and basic HR/attendance tools. Bachelors degree in any discipline. Preferred Skills Nice to Have Experience hiring for nursery, landscaping, agriculture, or manufacturing setups. Familiarity with an ATS or HRIS. Basic understanding of horticulture operations and safety practices. Experience managing contractor or seasonal workforce. Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary based on experience.
