Branch Manager – Sales & Operations (Industrial Packaging)

We are looking unitech packs for a result-oriented professional with strong experience in industrial B2B sales, customer acquisition and branch operations.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing new industrial customers, achieving profitable sales growth, managing customer relationships, coordinating operations and building a productive sales team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

• Develop new industrial customers across Chennai and surrounding industrial areas.
• Generate new business opportunities and convert enquiries into orders.
• Build relationships with Purchase Managers, Factory Managers and business owners.
• Achieve monthly sales and gross profit targets.
• Develop key accounts and repeat business.

2. Product Sales

Develop sales for:

• BOPP Tapes and Adhesive Tapes
• Bubble Rolls and EP Foam
• LDPE / HM Plastic Bags and Covers
• Shrink Films and Packaging Rolls
• Angle Boards and Protective Packaging
• Bio Bags and Industrial Packaging Materials

3. Branch Operations

• Manage daily branch activities.
• Coordinate purchasing, inventory, dispatch and customer service.
• Monitor stock levels and operational expenses.
• Coordinate with Puducherry Head Office.
• Ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

4. Team Management

• Recruit, guide and manage sales executives.
• Allocate sales targets and territories.
• Conduct daily and weekly sales reviews.
• Monitor individual and team performance.

5. Finance & Collections

• Monitor customer outstanding and overdue payments.
• Ensure timely collections.
• Maintain approved pricing and gross profit margins.
• Follow company credit policies.
• Submit daily and monthly business reports.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 8–10 years of experience in B2B industrial sales.
• Experience in packaging materials, flexible packaging, industrial tapes, plastic products or related industries.
• Strong Chennai industrial customer network.
• Proven new customer acquisition and sales growth record.
• Experience in managing a sales team.
• Knowledge of pricing, gross profit, collections and inventory.
• Good communication skills in Tamil and English.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets.
