Team Leadership & Mentorship: We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Lead to guide our multi-disciplinary engineering team, which sits at the intersection of backend, front-end, and artificial intelligence. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is passionate about building robust, scalable systems and mentoring a diverse team of engineers. You will be responsible for our platform's technical architecture, operational excellence, and the successful delivery of complex features. The ideal candidate is a "player-coach"—someone who can zoom out to define technical strategy, zoom in to write code for critical components, and collaborate across functions to bring our product vision to life. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and support a diverse team of backend, front-end, and AI/ML engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and psychological safety. Conduct regular code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and guide the team's professional and technical development. Help plan and prioritize the team's work, manage sprints, and remove technical roadblocks. Technical Strategy & Architecture: Design, architect, and oversee the implementation of highly scalable, resilient, and performant systems. Make key decisions on technology, frameworks, and infrastructure to meet business and product goals. Ensure our AI models are a first-class citizen in our platform, focusing on their seamless integration, deployment, and scalability. Hands-On Development & DevOps: Remain hands-on, contributing to the codebase (especially in Python and React.js ) to set standards and tackle the most complex challenges. Champion and implement DevOps best practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code (IaC), automated testing, monitoring, and observability. Own the team's operational health, from deployment pipelines to production stability and incident response. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate ambiguous business requirements into concrete technical solutions. Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Qualifications (Must-Haves) Experience: 10+years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 4+ years in a technical leadership, team lead, or senior/staff engineer role. Scalability: A proven track record of designing, building, and deploying highly scalable, distributed systems in a production environment (e.g., microservices, event-driven architectures). Python Expertise: Deep proficiency in Python and its ecosystem, especially for building robust backend APIs (e.g., using Flask, Django, or FastAPI). Front-End Expertise: Strong experience with modern front-end frameworks, particularly React.js , and a solid understanding of building complex, data-driven user interfaces. DevOps & Cloud Mastery: Comprehensive knowledge of DevOps principles and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible). Cloud Fluency: Extensive experience building and deploying on a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Leadership: Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, drive technical consensus, and lead complex projects from inception to completion. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves) Hands-on experience with the AI/ML lifecycle, including MLOps, model serving, and integrating models (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) into production applications.
