Job Title: Robotics Engineer - AI/ML (Internship → Full-time) Company: BotForge Labs Pvt Ltd Location: Chennai (On-site role) Experience: 1–3 Years Preferred (Freshers with strong portfolios can apply) Salary: 3.5 - 6 Lakhs/annum We are looking for a Robotics Engineer to support the development of learning-based robotic systems. You will work on robotic control, simulation, CAD integration, and AI training pipelines. The is intended to transition into a full-time position based on performance. Candidates should only apply if they have skills mentioned here. Key Responsibilities: Develop robotic control stacks that integrate vision, language, and action. Build and manage simulation environments (Isaac Gym, MuJoCo, PyBullet, Gazebo). Work on sim-to-real transfer and hardware-in-the-loop learning. Design and test robot tasks using reinforcement learning and imitation learning. Assist in dataset collection via teleoperation and scripted rollouts. Collaborate with mechanical teams to import and modify CAD models for simulation. Contribute to real-world deployment of foundation models on robotic platforms. Skills Required: Programming & ML: Python, PyTorch, JAX, Git, Linux Simulation: MuJoCo, Isaac Gym, PyBullet, Gazebo, Genesis, Sapien Robotics: ROS/ROS2, URDF/SDF modeling, Sensor-Actuator Integration AI & Learning: Deep Learning, Imitation Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Vision-Language Models CAD & Hardware Integration: SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Onshape (any of these), exporting and working with CAD for simulation Soft Skills: Problem-solving, collaboration, ownership mindset, curiosity, ability to work in uncertainty Eligibility: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related fields with 1-3 years experience.
