Bluetooth RF VI/DVT Engineer, Senior

As part of the Radio VI/DVT team at Qualcomm India Private Limited, your role will involve working on the bring up, evaluation, optimization, and enhancement of the radio performance of Qualcomm silicon radios. You will collaborate with multi-disciplined engineers in RF, Analog, Software, and Digital domains to provide tuning and configuration solutions for radio operation. Your responsibilities will include working at circuit, cell, subsystem, and system levels in a predominantly lab-based environment. Key Responsibilities: - Focus on aspects of silicon design influencing performance, qualification, and test of connectivity radios, including embedded firmware for Radio Control and defining Production Test strategy and test limits - Collaborate with analogue and digital designers, systems engineers, and radio control FW engineers to provide a complete radio system solution for verification and validation - Develop radio/modem features for Bluetooth products - Create RF test cases in Python - Review RF performance data and report performance results to a wide audience - Analyze and support bug fixes during the final stages of the program - Communicate status, bugs, and issues to leads and other teams within the company - Validate, debug software and hardware features, and address testing issues - Optimize automated test solutions in collaboration with colleagues - Troubleshoot radio issues with cross-functional team members and document solutions for internal teams - Plan development, testing, and maintenance work with team members Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of Software Engineering experience, or Master's degree with 1+ year of relevant experience, or PhD in a related field - 2+ years of academic or work experience in Programming Languages like C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - Good working knowledge of Radio fundamentals, calibration algorithms, especially Bluetooth, WiFi, UWB - Experience in Coex testing in wireless technologies - Strong understanding of signal processing and radio communication - Knowledge of electronic hardware and ability to read schematics - Proficiency in Python programming, with C# programming experience preferred - Experience with automation testing, test scripts creation, and industry-standard test automation tools - Familiarity with RF lab equipment and RF metrics - Proficient in using Issue Tracking tools like JIRA, Microsoft DevOps, etc. - Self-motivated, adaptable team player with mentoring skills - Proven track record of collaborative working and delivering tasks to schedule - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dynamic team environment At Qualcomm, we are committed to providing an accessible process for individuals with disabilities during the application/hiring process.
