Job Overview As a PHP Web Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications. You will work closely with designers, backend engineers, and project managers to deliver secure, responsive, and scalable digital solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain dynamic web applications using PHP and related frameworks (such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony) Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into functional features Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external web services Manage database operations using MySQL or similar relational databases Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across multiple environments Ensure applications are optimized for performance, speed, and scalability Maintain version control workflows using Git Contribute to UI/UX improvements and front-end integration when needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Proven experience as a PHP Developer or Web Developer Strong understanding of PHP, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and MVC architecture Experience with at least one major PHP framework (Laravel preferred) Proficiency in MySQL, database design, and query optimization Basic knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations Experience using Git or other version control systems Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail Preferred Skills Experience with modern front-end frameworks (Vue.js, React, or Angular) Knowledge of Linux environments or basic server management Understanding of SEO practices and responsive design principles Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Opportunities for professional development and continuous learning A collaborative and supportive work environment Exposure to diverse and modern tech projects Long-term growth opportunities within the development team How to Apply Please apply directly through Indeed with your updated resume.
