This is a Work from office role in Mumbai, so candidates in and around Mumbai only should apply. Roles and Responsibilities Writing, subbing, editing of chemistry and medical related technical articles and variety of features, scanning through literature, emails, press releases and other secondary sources and shortlisting potential authors for articles. Interacting with technical experts to obtain articles and information for publishing. Conducting interviews, writing profiles of people and organisations, overseeing our workshops & conferences. Attending press conferences, seminars, exhibitions etc. as well as writing press reports, subbing, editing of news, features, articles etc. Involves direct mail drafting and sending, telemarketing and personal meetings with senior industry people in chemical/ chemical engineering and pharma companies. Ability to write powerful and convincing emails, regularly writing and conceptualising innovative content for our journal and websites. Editorial linked marketing and monetising editorial content. Conduct research on event themes, speakers and content for our conferences and workshops. Work on the structure for the event including online, offline and/or hybrid events and assist in preparing conference/ workshop agenda and schedules Manage end to end speaker engagement from outreach to post event follow up and relationship building. Maintain and update databases for speakers and other event related information. Support the team in event execution and other on-ground responsibilities as needed. Preferred candidate profile Preferably science graduates with chemistry or microbiology, biology, zoology etc. with excellent written and spoken English. Alternatvely candidates with experience in chemical/ process industry, healthcare space and / or technical writing will be suited to the role. Good general knowledge on overall industry, business & economy. Good command and flair for English to quickly correct manuscripts and press releases. Good speaking ability for convincing industry experts, dynamic go getter interested in interacting with industry managers.
