We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mechanical Engineer to support operations at our fiber recycling plant . The ideal candidate will have experience working in process or recycling industries, particularly in handling equipment related to fiber processing, and must be proficient in AutoCAD for designing and updating mechanical layouts and drawings. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of plant machinery, improving plant performance, and supporting continuous improvement in plant reliability and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical systems and equipment in the fiber recycling process , including shredders, pulpers, conveyors, dryers, and filtration units. Develop and update technical drawings, equipment layouts, and mechanical parts using AutoCAD . Support installation, commissioning, and modifications of equipment and systems. Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance to reduce downtime. Monitor equipment performance and suggest improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency. Work with procurement and vendors to ensure correct specifications for mechanical parts and equipment. Ensure all activities comply with health, safety, and environmental standards. Maintain proper documentation of designs, maintenance activities, and technical reports. Qualifications & Skills: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. 2–5 years of mechanical maintenance or design experience in a recycling, pulp & paper, or fiber-based manufacturing plant . Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D essential; 3D knowledge is a plus). Good understanding of mechanical systems like shredders, separators, conveyors, and pumps. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Knowledge of safety protocols and industrial maintenance practices. Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a fiber or PSF manufacturing environment and will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of fiber recycling machinery. Key Responsibilities: Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot PSF production and recycling equipment . Perform mechanical fitting, cutting, and repair work on plant machinery. Monitor machine performance and ensure smooth, efficient operation. Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and downtime. Follow all safety protocols and quality standards during operations. Assist in installation, alignment, and calibration of PSF processing machines. Report daily maintenance and operational issues to the supervisor or shift engineer. Required Qualifications: Education: ITI in Fitter / Mechanical / Relevant Trade.
