Job Description

As a Biotechnology Associate in the Product Development and Field Support Team, you will be involved in various hands-on tasks related to biotechnology kits and client interactions across India. Your role will contribute to the development of high-quality biotech kits and providing on-site technical support to clients. Key Responsibilities: - Laboratory Work & Kit Development: - Prepare and optimize biotechnology kits such as DNA/RNA extraction and protein purification. - Design and perform ELISA assays, gel electrophoresis, cell culture, and chromatography. - Conduct quality control (QC) tests on reagents and kits. - Troubleshoot technical issues in sample processing, extraction, and assay workflows. - Field Support & Client Management: - Travel to client sites across India for product demonstrations, training, and troubleshooting. - Build and maintain strong relationships with academic, clinical, and industrial clients. - Gather customer feedback to enhance product design and usability. - Documentation & Compliance: - Maintain detailed records of experimental protocols, QC data, and client reports. - Ensure compliance with ISO or other regulatory standards. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and sales teams to refine product workflows. - Attend scientific conferences, exhibitions, and networking events to promote products. Qualifications & Skills: Essential: - Bachelors/Masters degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field. - Hands-on experience with DNA/RNA extraction, ELISA, Cell Culture, Electrophoresis, and Protein purification. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. - Willingness to travel up to 40% for client visits across India. Preferred: - Familiarity with PCR, qPCR, or NGS workflows. - Experience in IVD kit development and knowledge of regulatory standards. - Fluency in English and regional Indian languages.
