Job description

The Data Entry Officer is responsible for efficiently entering, updating, and maintaining data in various databases and systems. This position requires attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage large volumes of data in a timely and organized manner. The Data Entry Officer will also assist with data validation, document management, and reporting tasks as required by the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry & Management:
  • Accurately enter data from various sources (forms, surveys, reports, etc.) into the company's databases or systems.
  • Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness before inputting into systems.
  • Organize and maintain digital files and records in an efficient manner.
  • Ensure data is processed in compliance with data privacy and security policies.
  • Data Quality Assurance:
  • Perform regular data audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Identify and correct discrepancies or errors in the database.
  • Work with team members to resolve any data-related issues.
  • Document Handling:
  • Scan, file, and categorize physical documents as required.
  • Convert paper-based records into digital formats when needed.
  • Ensure that documents are properly stored and easy to retrieve.
  • Reporting & Communication:
  • Assist in the preparation of reports by compiling and organizing data.
  • Respond to queries from other departments or teams regarding data and records.
  • Maintain a log of data entry tasks and progress.
  • Administrative Support:
  • Provide general clerical support as needed, such as preparing correspondence, managing schedules, and organizing meetings.
  • Assist in creating templates, forms, or spreadsheets for data collection.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork:
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand data needs and requirements.
  • Ensure that data is aligned with departmental and organizational goals.
  • Confidentiality & Security:
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive data.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding data protection and privacy.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Any Degree.
  • Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with database management systems and data entry software.
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹10,500 per month
