Big data Developer

As a qualified candidate for this role, you have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Apache Spark along with proficiency in Scala/Java/Kotlin. It is essential that you possess expertise in Scala language with spark, Hadoop, Hive, and SQL. Your educational background includes a 4-year degree in Quantitative disciplines or equivalent experience, or an MS in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or relevant industry experience. With at least 6 years of experience in end-to-end application development, data exploration, data pipelining, API design, and model latency optimization, you are well-versed in deploying Machine Learning algorithms into production environments. Your programming skills in Java/Scala and/or Python are highly proficient, and you have a solid understanding of Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Kafka, and Spark. You should also have a strong grasp of data analysis techniques, including data cleaning, preprocessing, and visualization. Your ability to collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable machine learning solutions is crucial. Excellent communication skills are necessary for effectively conveying data-driven stories through visualizations, graphs, and narratives.
